Head of School Report

Happy New Year!

Are you a person who makes New Year’s resolutions? Normally, I am not, but the last couple of days I have been aware of how much more free time I have and how I feel I am wasting too much of it.  I had decided to put in the effort to use the time more wisely.

Today in church we sang “All Glory Be To Christ” (words by Dustin Kensrue, arrangement by Kings Kaleidoscope – linked below).  I was reminded my efforts will not stand, only those directed by the Lord, and for His glory. Thank you, Lord, for that clarification. I will stop and ask the Lord how He wants me to use the time. I pray as the year plays out, we all consider His glory in all we do.

God bless you all,

Vicky Fogg

Head of School

“All Glory Be To Christ” lyrics

Verse 1: Should nothing of our efforts stand
No legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house
In vain its builders strive
To you who boast tomorrow’s gain
Tell me what is your life
A mist that vanishes at dawn
All glory be to Christ!

Chorus: All glory be to Christ our King!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign we’ll ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

Verse 2: His will be done
His kingdom come
On earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread
Praise Him the Lord of love
Let living water satisfy
The thirsty without price
We’ll take a cup of kindness yet
All glory be to Christ!

Verse 3: When on the day the great I Am
The faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain
Is making all things new
Behold our God shall live with us
And be our steadfast light
And we shall ere his people be
All glory be to Christ!

Mr. Ralph’s Corner

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and are ready to get down to business here in 2021! I’m excited for the new year. Not because of the COVID vaccine, which is all you hear about, but because God has a great plan for us personally, for the school, and for the nation. The news is so negative when they look back at 2020, but there are so many positive things we learned about ourselves, about medicine and technology, and about our great God who loves us unconditionally! One of my goals for the new year is to be a positive light to the people around me. To turn the negative circumstances into positive experiences. God’s ways are not our ways, and our ways are not His ways, but His ways are always better, even though we don’t always understand them.

So my prayer for all of you in the coming year is to not be drawn down into the doldrums as is so easy to do, but be strong in your faith and find new ways to build it up. More time in Scripture, more time in prayer, searching out those positive things that God wants to build into your character, and when 2021 is over you can look back and say, “This year was the best year ever!”

It’s great to see you all!!

Mr. Ralph

Praise and Prayer

  • The ease in COVID-19 restrictions from VT governor Phil Scott allowed many families to spend time over the holidays with those they love – thank you Lord for the ability to gather!
  • Technology allows MVCS teachers to teach remotely, a huge blessing if quarantining is necessary for any of our staff.
  • We are still adding new students to our roster – praise God for bringing these families to our school! We are so thankful!

  • Continue to pray with us for our school to be a place that shepherds students to come to know the living God!
  • Pray for our faculty and staff to model their love for the Lord in a manner that draws students closer to Him.
  • Pray for those in our MVCS community who have to quarantine, that their teaching and learning would not be hindered but would flourish!
